Paper cutting is a fold-and-cut technique, and in this course the language of symbols is expressed as its motif. Anna Wielander-Platzgummer’s artistic work reflects an intense engagement with folklore. Her works draw on ancient symbols and rituals from our region, but also from other cultures.
Tutor: Anna Wielander-Platzgummer from Schlanders studied at the art academies in Munich and Florence and taught art for many years in Mals, Schlanders and Merano. Many exhibitions followed.
